He started racing when he was three, riding BMX bikes. Two years later, he won a state championship and the following year, he started racing motorcross and won two Barona MC Park championships in 2005. At the age of eight, he started competing in Quarter Midget racing and then moved on to Championship Off-Road Racing Trophy Karts. He won a title each year he competed in Trophy Karts and also won the 2012 Superlite championship. In 2013, he competed in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series and finished in the top-three in points and winning the Pro Life title the next year. In 2015, he started competed in the Formula Off-Road season and won the gold medal at X Games Austin. In 2014 and 2015 he competed at New Smyrna Speedway in the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing.
