2017: A penalty following a contact with Kumpen relegates him outside the top-10 in Round 1, Starts 1st and finishes second in Round 2 at Valencia... loses clutch in overtime in Round 3 at Brands Hatch losing 3rd place, bounces back with second place in round 4... scores only one top-10 in an unlucky weekend at Venray.. rebounds at Hockenheim with two third place finishes and closes the regular season fifth in points... scores a pole, a second and a fourth place at Franciacorta to enter the Finals third by 53 points... 2016: Finishes second in both races in the Valencia season opener...
