MIVERTON, Ont. -- Scott Steckly and 22 Racing are pleased to announce Wednesday that Quebec racing veteran Donald Theetge has formed a new association with their team for the 2017 NASCAR Pintys Series season. Together they will participate in the series championship. Theetge will take over the wheel for seven races on the oval tracks. TORONTO – In one of NASCAR Canada’s biggest sponsorship announcements, Tagliani Autosport, in conjunction with 22 Racing, revealed Saturday that it had secured a major sponsorship from home improvement giant, Lowe’s Canada, for its 2017 NASCAR Pinty’s Series season.
At the Toronto Motorama Custom Car & Motorsport Show press conference, Tagliani Autosport unveiled the #18 racecar. Lowe’s Canada joins long-time sponsor EpiPen, as a major contributor to driver Alex Tagliani’s effort in the Canadian series.> More
AYR, ONT., Canada – Adam Martin set the bar high in 2016 scoring a pair of top-five finishes in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series. The racer from Ayr, Ontario, will contest the entire schedule in 2017 chasing the Rookie of the Year championship.

ST. THOMAS, ON – In February, Canadian stock car driver DJ Kennington will be behind the wheel of an all-Canadian effort in the world’s biggest stock car race; the Daytona 500.
The St. Thomas, Ontario resident is a two-time champion of Canada’s NASCAR series and has extensive experience competing in the sanctioning body’s US-based Xfinity and Camping World Truck Series.> More

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- In a season filled with so many accomplishments and record-breaking achievements, 2016 may not played out the same if it wasn't for the two early season races Cayden Lapcevich didn't win.
And in the end, it got a 16-year-old from Grinsby, Ontario, to the very place he hoped he could reach back when he was just a little kid visiting the race track.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Cayden Lapcevich's impressive season continued as he earned another honor.
The NASCAR Pinty's Series champion is also the Josten’s Rookie of the Year for the series. He becomes the first driver to win both awards in the same year.
The 16 year-old high school senior outdistanced Kevin Lacroix to win the prestigious honor and felt he was able to get the award based his improvement on road courses.> More
