WATKING GLEN, N.Y. (May 8, 2008) - An The road-course aces asserted their expertise in the second and final NASCAR Camping World Series practice session at Watkins Glen (N.Y.) International Friday evening.
Matt Kobyluck (No. 40 Mohegan Sun Resort Chevrolet) of Uncasville, Conn. posted the fastest time of the session and of the day with a time of 1:14.928. Kobyluck’s time is within .565-second of the track qualifying record of 1:14.363 (118.607 mph) set by Dale Quarterly in 2002.> More

Formerly known as the NASCAR Busch North Series and later Busch East, the series established a tradition of great competition on the 2.45-mile road course. Kobyluck’s No. 40 Mohegan Sun Chevrolet was one of four cars involved in a wreck in Saturday’s first 45-minute practice session for the Strutmasters.com 150 at South Boston Speedway.
