PRACTICE: Gilliland Sets Fast Pace

HAMPTON, Va. – Todd Gilliland was fastest in practice for Monday’s Visit Hampton Virginia 150 at Larry King Law’s Langley Speedway.

Gilliland, who is chasing his fourth K&N Pro Series East victory of 2017, recorded a fast lap of 16.564.  His main championship rival, Harrison Burton, was third fastest with a 16.699 second lap.

Dillon Bassett was second fastest with a 16.648 second lap, followed by Burton, Ruben Garcia, Jr. (16.745 sec) and Ronnie Bassett, Jr. (16.757).

POSTPONED: K&N Pro East to Race Monday

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Expected persistent rain has prompted NASCAR and track officials to move Saturday’s Visit Hampton Virginia 150 at Virginia’s Langley Speedway.

The NASCAR K&N Pro Series East race will now be held Monday, Sept. 4 at 6 p.m. ET with NASCAR Whelen All-American Series divisions set to begin at 4 p.m.

NASCAR Next drivers Harrison Burton and Todd Gilliland will enter the race separated by only four points in the championship standings.

Rodgers Earns First Career Victory

WATKINS GLEN, NY -- It was a day of firsts for Will Rodgers. In his first ever NASCAR K&N Pro Series East start, he became a first-time winner.

The Murrieta, California, native wheeled his No. 7 Solvang Brewing Company Ford to Victory Lane for the first time in his NASCAR K&N Pro Series career, holding off Ruben Garcia Jr. and Todd Gilliland on an overtime restart.

QUALIFYING: Truex Earns Third Pole

WATKINS GLEN, NY -- Ryan Truex and Watkins Glen International seem to be a pretty good pair.

The driver of the No. 01 Gunma Toyopet Toyota for Hattori Racing Enterprises earned the Coors Light Pole for the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East's Finger Lakes Wine Country 100 at Watkins Glen with a fast lap of 120.254 mph (1:13.345 seconds). The pole is Truex's third of his K&N Pro Series East career and first since 2009 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

WATKINS GLEN, NY -- Ryan Truex was fastest on the speed charts in the only practice for the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East's Finger Lakes Wine Country 100 at Watkins Glen International. Truex's No. 01 Gunma Toyopet Toyota turned a blazing fast lap of 120.737 mph (1:13.294 seconds) around the 11-turn road course.
