SONOMA, Calif -- Will Rodgers will lead the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West field, which includes some of stock car racing's best, to the green flag Saturday afternoon in his home state.
The 22-year-old Murrieta, California, native posted a time of 1:17.949 seconds (91.906 mph) around the 12-turn road course, to score his first career K&N Pro Series West 21 Means 21 Pole Award. The lap came in his second of two circuits in his No. 7 Solvang Brewing Company Ford, and was less than one mph off the track record set by Kyle Larson in 2014.> More
SONOMA, Calif. -- Michael Self was quickest in the only NASCAR K&N Pro Series West practice session Friday afteroon for the Carneros 200 at Sonoma Raceway. Self's No. 9 Sunrise Ford/Eibach Springs Lucas Oil/Braille Batteries Ford turned a lap of 1:18.524 seconds (91.233 mph) around the 12-turn road course.
The Park City, Utah, native's fastest lap came on his 15th and final run of the session and he was one of three drivers to clock laps north of the 90-mph bracket.> More

DACONO, Colo. -- Chris Eggleston topped the speed charts in both NASCAR K&N Pro Series West practice sessions for the NAPA Toyota 150 at Colorado National Speedway on Saturday afternoon. His No. 99 Platinum NAPA Filters Toyota turned the fastest lap time of 78.394 mph (16.911 seconds) around the .375-mile asphalt oval.
That lap came in the second session on his 24th of 25 laps. His fastest lap of 77.704 mph (17.142 seconds) in the first session was fifth fastest in terms of overall practice speeds.> More

For the second consecutive season, Eggleston was victorious in the Sunrise Ford 150 presented by Pinnacle Peak Steakhouse. Saturday night, the 28-year-old Erie, Colorado, driver won the Coors Light Pole and dominated the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West race on the quarter-mile.
It was his second win of the season and seventh time in his career. The victory also marked the 2015 NASCAR K&N Pro Series West champion's sixth top five finish of the season.> More
