CHAMPION'S PROFILE: Rewriting Expectations

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - No one, much less 16-year-old Todd Gilliland, could have imagined what 2016 had in store for him.

The native of California who now resides in Sherrills Ford, North Carolina, put together an incredible season driving the No. 16 NAPA Auto Parts Toyota for Bill McAnally Racing that included seven victories in NASCAR K&N Pro Series competition, six of which came in the West division, and the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West championship.

Gilliland And BMR Expand Horizons For 2017

ROSEVILLE, Calif. – Bill McAnally Racing and driver Todd Gilliland are expanding their horizons for 2017 with a program to run the full schedules in both the East and West divisions of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series.

Gilliland will be in his second season behind the wheel of BMR’s No. 16 NAPA AUTO PARTS Toyota Camry as they tackle the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East and the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West next season.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – NASCAR fans have been thrilled in recent years by the achievements of the sport’s rising stars – from Joey Logano’s DAYTONA 500 win in 2015 to Austin Dillon, Chase Elliott and Kyle Larson joining him in the 2016 Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. Daniel Suarez won the NASCAR XFINITY Series championship this year and William Byron led the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in wins.

They all have one thing in common. They cut their teeth in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series before breaking into NASCAR’s national series.

Sellers Remembered For His Colorful Career

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Through 32 seasons competing in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West, Jack Sellers never visited Victory Lane. In fact, he never had a top-five finish. But that didn’t deter him from having fun and being a big part of the West Coast series.

Sellers – who finished 14th in his last series start at his home track of All American Speedway on Oct. 15 – passed away at his Sacramento, California ranch over the weekend at the age of 72.

Gilliland Clinches Sunoco Rookie Title

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Todd Gilliland proved he was the driver to beat this season in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West, and he's already started collecting the trophies.

In addition to his series-high six wins, the 16-year-old from Sherrills Ford, North Carolina, has already clinched the 2016 Sunoco Rookie of the Year Award with a race remaining.

Gilliland Wins Big At Meridian Speedway

MERIDIAN, Idaho – Todd Gilliland capitalized on a mistake made by Ryan Partridge late in the NAPA Auto Parts/Idaho 208 to take home his sixth NASCAR K&N Pro Series West trophy of the year.

Gilliland, 16, a Sherrills Ford, North Carolina, native started the race fifth and picked his way through the field to move into second behind Partridge, who had led a total of 121 laps before being overtaken by the NASCAR Next driver.
