PRACTICE: Heckert Remains Fast

Leads Field In Morning K&N Pro East Sessions At VIR

ALTON, Va. - It appears Scott Heckert is still riding the momentum of his first NASCAR K&N Pro Series East win into today's Biscuitville 125 at Virginia International Raceway.

Heckert was fastest overall after two morning practice sessions at the 2.25-mile road course with a quick time of 87.742 seconds (92.316 mph).

Cameron Hayley was second quick in the first session at 88.126 seconds (91.914 mph) which held up second fastest overall during both sessions.

Series points leader Ben Rhodes was fastest in the final practice session and third overall at 88.633 seconds (91.388 mph).

Gray Gaulding (88.790/91.226) and Brandon Jones (88.954/91.058) completed the top five.

Cole Custer, Sergio Pena, Kaz Grala, Nick Drake and Brodie Kostecki rounded out the top 10 drivers from the two practice sessions. 

Qualifying for the Biscuitville 125 is scheduled for 1:40 p.m. ET with the race at 4:35 p.m. ET
