DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — A veteran of more than 30 years of dirt track racing received a career high honor Tuesday.
Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin welcomed 2011 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series state champion Joe Duvall to her state capitol office in Oklahoma City. In addition to the state title, Duvall won the 2011 dirt Modified track championship at the NASCAR-sanctioned Salina (Okla.) Highbanks Speedway.
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Ryan Carlson attained one of the nation’s toughest-to-win pavement Late Model division track championships in 2011. He became only the sixth different driver in 25 seasons to take the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series title at Rockford (Ill.) Speedway while snagging the 2011 NASCAR Illinois state championship, as well.
Carlson worked his way through the ups and downs of the racing season that included a winless streak of more than a month.
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Driver Wayne Helliwell Jr. thrived in 2011 despite a major change in his NASCAR Home Track’s featured division.
Helliwell, 34, of Dover, N.H., won his fourth consecutive NASCAR Whelen All-American Series track championship at Lee (N.H.) USA Speedway in 2011. His most recent track title was accompanied by his second consecutive NASCAR state championship.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam congratulated 2011 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series state champion Nate Monteith of Blountville in his Tennessee State Capital office Wednesday afternoon.
Haslam invited Monteith to Nashville to congratulate him on his NASCAR state championship and 2011 NASCAR Late Model track championship at Kingsport (Tenn.) Speedway. Monteith was accompanied by his dad Don.
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Bill Rodgers won the closest NASCAR Pro Series division point race in the 63-year history of Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in 2011. The margin of a single point gained Rogers, 47, of Old Orchard Beach, Maine, his first NASCAR Whelen All-American Series track championship. He also won the 2011 NASCAR state championship.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Popular five-term Iowa Governor Terry Branstad congratulated his state’s 2011 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series champion Paul Glendenning Thursday afternoon.
En route to the Iowa championship, Glendenning also won his first NASCAR dirt Late Model track championship at Adams County Speedway in Corning, Iowa in 2011. Ray Houck, ACS competition director, accompanied Glendenning to the state capital building in Des Moines.
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — NASCAR and Rev Racing announced today the six drivers that will compete for Rev Racing in the 2012 season. The announcement was made during the preseason NASCAR Sprint Media Tour hosted by Charlotte Motor Speedway stop at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, where the drivers were introduced.
Rev Racing, formerly known as Revolution Racing, operates under the ownership of Max Siegel and will field four teams in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series and two teams in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series.
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — A New Hampshire fairgrounds paved track has joined the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series.
Canaan Fair Speedway, a .333-mile paved oval, is located in east central New Hampshire’s Dartmouth-Lake Sunapee region. It opened in 1996.
“Teaming with Canaan Fair Speedway expands NASCAR’s longtime presence in New Hampshire northward,” said George Silbermann, NASCAR vice president, regional and touring series. “NASCAR has gained a great track with great participants.”

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – OCESA announced today the 2012 NASCAR Mexico Series schedule that marks the series’ ninth season overall and sixth under the NASCAR banner.
