Practice: Earnhardt Fastest At Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A week after watching his teammates duel for the win, Jeffrey Earnhardt led the way in NASCAR Camping World Series East practice Saturday afternoon.

Earnhardt paced the final 45-minute practice session at the Music City Motorplex's 5/8-mile oval at 19.681 seconds/109.019 mph.

Craig Goess was second fastest at 19.881/107.922, followed by Jody Lavender at 19.906/107.787. Earnhardt's teammate, Trevor Bayne, who picked up his first career win last week at Thompson (Conn.) International Speedway, was fourth fastest in the final practice.

Matt Kobyluck was fifth in the final practice, and defending race winner Rogelio Lopez was sixth.

Peyton Sellers (19.868/107.993) led the first one-hour practice, followed by Richard Johns, Bayne, Steve Park and Matt Kobyluck.

Twenty-seven drivers took time in the first practice and 28 in the second, including two-time Daytona 500 winner and former Music City track champion Sterling Marlin.

Qualifying for the Strutmasters.com 150 presented by Dollar General is scheduled for 4:15 p.m., and the race is slated to take the green flag at 7:30 p.m.
