TED CHRISTOPHER WINS HIS THIRD ICEBREAKER AT THOMPSON INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY. THE DEFENDING TOUR CHAMPION, CHRISTOPHER MOVES INTO SOLE POSSESSION OF FOURTH-PLACE ON THE ALL-TIME NASCAR WHELEN MODIFIED TOUR WIN LIST WITH HIS 32ND VICTORY. JIMMY BLEWETT FINISHES SECOND, FOLLOWED BY DONNY LIA, RYAN PREECE AND TODD SZEGEDY. JAMIE TOMAINO FINISHES 13TH IN HIS 500TH START.

Lap 4 -- Doug Coby, Ted Christopher, Rowan Pennink, Jamie Tomaino form a four-car breakaway from Mike Stefanik in fifth.
Lap 1 -- Ted Christopher uses the bottom shot to slide by Rowan Pennink for second place coming out of Turn 2.
2:57 p.m. -- Doug Coby and Rowan Pennink lead the field to green.
2:57 p.m. -- One to go
2:56 p.m. -- Andy Seuss will drop to the rear of the field. Seuss missed qualifying Saturday to run the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour event at South Boston - which he won. Tommy Cravenho qualified 19th.
2:55 p.m. -- Pace laps are underway
2:50 p.m. -- Cars are on the track as driver introductions have begun.
2:40 p.m. -- Jeff Zuidema won the Late Model feature, duplicating his win Saturday night. The Tour pit carts are being wheeled onto pit road.
2:23 p.m. -- The final NASCAR Whelen All-American Series race is set to go green. Todd Ceravolo won the Sunoco Modified feature, with Keith Rocco second. Rocco had won the season-opening Sunoco Modified race held Saturday following the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour qualifying.
1 p.m. -- Thompson's NASCAR Whelen All-American Series divisions are on the track. Still to come, the track's Sunoco Modified and Late Model division. The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race will conclude the day's racing and is scheduled for approx. 3:15 p.m.
SUNDAY, 11:30 a.m. -- Reggie Ruggiero, Carl Pasteryak, and Jamie Tomaino are recognized during pre-race ceremonies. All three drivers started in the Icebreaker at the first NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race in 1984. Tomaino is also honored as he gets set to make his record 500th career start Sunday.
4:10 p.m. -- Top six qualifiers redrew for Sunday's starting positions. Doug Coby redrew the top spot, and Rowan Pennink will start on the outside of the front row. Jamie Tomaino will make his 500th start from the third position. Coors Light Pole Award winner Ted Christopher will start fourth. Mike Stefanik and Glen Reen will make up the third row.
3:51 p.m. -- Qualifying for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour has concluded. Ted Christopher earns his 19th career Coors Light Pole Award and eighth at Thompson. Doug Coby, Glen Reen, Jamie Tomaino and Rowan Pennink. Tomaino will make his 500th NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour start in Sunday's race, tentatively scheduled to take the green flag at 3:15 p.m.
3:48 p.m. -- After a delay to clean liquid off the track in Turn 2, Jimmy Blewett, Wade Cole and Eric Goodale conclude qualifying.
3:26 p.m. -- Ted Christopher knocks Doug Coby off the pole. Christopher went out 29th and posted a time of 18.612 seconds (120.890 mph)
3:18 p.m. -- Mike Stefanik goes out 19th and is fourth fastest. Top three remain the same.
3:14 p.m. -- After 15 cars, Doug Coby is still on the pole. Glen Reen, Chris Pasteryak, Ryan Preece and Donny Lia round out the top 5.
3:04 p.m. -- After five cars have taken time, Doug Coby is the fastest at 18.719 seconds (120.199 mph)
3 p.m. -- Eric Beers is the first car on the track as qualifying for Sunday's Icebreaker gets underway.
2:52 p.m. -- NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour cars on the track for their tire scuff session prior to qualifying.
1:06 p.m. -- Qualifying is scheduled for 2:45 p.m. as the sun has come out.
12:42 p.m. -- Tommy Cravenho is practicing and qualifying the No. 70 for driver Andy Seuss, who is competing in the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour event at South Boston Saturday.
