Lap By Lap: Lanier 150



CHECKERED FLAG -- Seuss Wins Lanier 150. Brunnhoelzl second. Miller and B. Myers get together racing for third on the final lap sending Myers spinning in Turn 2.

9:35 p.m. ET -- Top 10 on lap 140 - Seuss, Brunnhoelzl, Miller, B. Myers, Loftin, J. Myers, Emory, Christopher, Fleming, Bertuccio. 

9:32 p.m. ET -- Seuss has pulled away by five car lengths over George Brunnhoelzl with L.W. Miller in third another six car lengths back. 

9:30 p.m. ET --  No. 2 J.R. Bertuccio was the benficiary on during the last caution. 

9:30 p.m. ET -- Restart on Lap 115  . Top 10 at the restart  is Andy Suess, George Brunnhoelzl, L.W. Miller, Ted Christopher, Brian Loftin, Frank Fleming, Burt Myers, Buddy Emory, Jason Myers, Tim Brown.  

9:27 p.m. ET -- Caution #2 for Ted Christopher and Gene Pack making contact coming out of Turn 4 on lap 109.  

9:25 p.m. ET -- Brian Loftin has passed Frank Fleming for fifth. Top four remain the same with Seuss leading Brunnhoelzl by 10 car lengths. 

9:24 p.m. ET -- Brunnhoelzl has passed Miller and Christopher for second and Miller and Christopher are racing side by side for third. 

9:21 p.m. ET -- Drizzle is reportedly starting to fall on the backstretch but the race is still under green.

9:20 p.m. ET -- Lap 75 - The race is halfway complete and Seuss maintains a four-car length lead over Christopher. Miller is third with Brunnhoelzl closing in to challenge for position. Fleming is fifth.

9:15 p.m. ET --  Lap 60 Top-10 Seuss, Christopher, Miller, Brunnhoelzl, Fleming, Loftin, B. Myers, Brown. Emory, J. Myers. 

9:12 p.m. ET --  Seuss passes Christopher on lap 43 and has pulled away by two car lengths. 

9:10 p.m. ET --  Christopher leads Seuss by three cars lengths with Miller four car lengths back and Brunnhoelzl now in fourth on lap 37. 

9:07 p.m. ET -- Lap 20 Top 10 - Christopher, Seuss, Miller, Fleming, Loftin, Brunnhoelzl, B. Myers, Brown, Emory, Smith. 

9:03 p.m. ET -- Ted Christopher takes the lead on lap 9 with Andy Seuss moving up to second. Fleming drops to third with Loftin and Miller fourth and fifth.

9:02 p.m. ET  -- Restart Lap 6 - Fleming, Miller Christopher, Burt Myers and Brian Loftin are your top five. 

9:01 p.m. ET  -- Caution No. 1 on Lap 3 when No. 4 Jason Myers spins in Turn 3 and is hit by No. 44 Rich Kuiken Jr. Both cars are able to continue. 

9:00 p.m. ET  -- Frank Fleming leads the field to the green flag. L.W. Miller falls in line in second with Burt Myers third and Ted Christopher fourth. 

8:55 p.m. ET  -- Engines have been fired and Frank Fleming and L..W. Miller lead the field onto the track for the warm-up laps 

8:40 p.m. ET  -- The weather has held off and the track will hold its local Truck division race next and the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour Lanier 150 now start at approximately 9 p.m. ET 

8:25 p.m. ET  -- Drivers have been called to their cars and are getting prepared for the race. While the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour drivers are getting ready the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Sportsman division will run their 20 lap feature. 

8:05 p.m. ET  -- Due to a storm system near the track the Lanier 150 start time will be moved up to approximately 8:15 p.m. Stay tuned for more details. 

7:45 p.m. ET -- The first two NASCAR Whelen All-American Series events have ended and we have four more races to go before the start of the Lanier 150 for the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour. 

6:15 p.m. ET -- George Brunnhoelzl III and defending NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour champion Brian Loftin each recorded identical times 13.374 (100.942 mph) and Brunnhoelzl was awarded the pole by virtue of his lead in the 2009 point standings.  (CLICK HERE FOR COMPLETE QUALIFYING RESULTS)

2:45 p.m. ET -- Practice has just ended with Ted Christopher setting fast time in practice with a time of 13.552 seconds (99.616 mph). Tim Brown 13.564 (99.528) was second fastest with Jason Myers third fastest at 13.593 (99.316). (CLICK HERE FOR COMPLETE PRACTICE TIMES)

Qualifying for the Coors Light Pole Award is scheduled for 5:45 p.m.

1:30 p.m. ET -- Practice has begun
