ERIC HOLMES COMES TO THE CHECKERED FLAG AS THE WINNER OF THE NAPA AUTO PARTS/TOYOTA 150 BY EXCLUSIVE ENERGY DRINK IN THE NASCAR CAMPING WORLD SERIES WEST. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME HE HAS BEEN TO VICTORY LANE THIS SEASON, MAKING HIM THE ONLY DRIVER TO WIN MORE THAN ONE RACE THUS FAR. DAVID MAYHEW, MIKE DAVID, PAULIE HARRAKA, AND GREG PURSLEY MAKE UP THE REST OF THE TOP 5.
LAP 149 -- Gomez collides with another car and goes off the track.
LAP 148 -- They take the Green Flag.
LAP 145 -- The flag man gives the "5 to go" signal.
LAP 142 -- CAUTION 8 -- Jason Bowles and Brett Thompson spin in Turn 2.
LAP 140 -- Holmes moves into the lead with 10 laps to go.
LAP 138 -- Mayhew, Holmes, David, Gomez, Pursley, Thompson are the top 6.
LAP 135 -- CAUTION 7 -- Harraka spins in Turn 2. Smith gets the Free Pass.
LAP 133 -- Mayhew takes the lead on the inside.
LAP 126 -- CAUTION 6 -- Jaimie Dick hits the wall on the back stretch. Heavy right front damage. Hale gets the Free Pass.
LAP 120 -- David, Mayhew, Holmes, Pursley, Thompson, Gomez, Bowles, Dick, Harraka, and Banks make up the top ten.
LAP 114 -- The top 6 cars are driving nose to tail.
LAP 112 -- Koch spins in Turn 4.
LAP 100 -- David, Mayhew, Holmes, Pursley, Thompson, Gomez, Harraka, Bowles, Banks and Dick make up the top ten.
LAP 100 -- Warn goes to into the pits.
LAP 98 -- Mayhew passes Holmes on the outside for 2nd.
LAP 97 -- David moves into the lead.
LAP 95 -- Inglebright out of the race with a blown engine.
LAP 92 -- CAUTION 5 -- Inglebright smokes on the back straight a way. the Free Pass car is Johnathan Hale putting him back on the lead lap.
LAP 87 -- Holmes takes the lead.
LAP 85 -- Dick goes into the pits with a right front tire down.
LAP 80 -- David, Holmes, Mayhew, Dick, Pursley, Thompson, Gomez, Harraka, Banks, Smith, Hale, Inglebright, and Bowles are all the cars on the lead lap.
LAP 76 -- CAUTION 4 -- Accident Turn 2 Harraka and Inglebright. The Free Pass car is Bowles bringing him back to the lead lap.
LAP 68 -- Mayhew passes Dick on the outside for 3rd.
LAP 62 -- Pedroncelli officially out of the race as a result of the earlier accident.
LAP 61 -- Warn back comes on the track.
LAP 60 -- David, Holmes, Dick, Mayhew, Harraka, Pursley, Inglebright, Thompson, Gomez, and Banks make up the top ten.
LAP 57 -- David takes the lead.
LAP 55 -- Gren Flag racing resumes
LAP 53 -- Pedroncelli to the pits, Koch is able to continue.
LAP 51 -- Smith into the pits.
LAP 48 -- CAUTION 3 -- Koch and Pedroncelli accident Turn 2. Free Pass car is Jason Bowles and remains one lap down.
LAP 46 -- Dugan out of the race with suspension problems.
LAP 43 -- Harraka, David, and Mayhew battle three wide for second place.
LAP 40 -- Holmes, Harraka, David, Mayhew, Dick, Pursley, Smith, Koch, Thompson, and Inglebright make up the top ten.
LAP 34 -- Bowles goes to the pits with a flat right tire.
LAP 32 -- Warn is in the pits due to overheating.
LAP 30 -- Holmes takes the lead.
LAP 29 -- Harraka brings them to the Green Flag.
LAP 26 -- CAUTION 2 -- Phil Dugan spins Turn 2. Free Pass car is Rodd Kneeland .
LAP 20 -- Harraka, Holmes, Bowles, David, Dick, Mayhew, Smith, Pursley, Koch, and Warn make up the top ten.
LAP 13 -- Eric Holmes Takes 2nd from Bowles.
LAP 5 -- Harraka takes the lead at the restart.
LAP 1 -- CAUTION 1 -- Rodd Kneeland spins in Turn 4.
8:00 p.m. -- The cars have warmed up their tires and are taking the last parade lap and they are coming to the Green Flag and starting the NAPA AUTO PARTS/TOYOTA 150 by Exclusive Energy Drink in the NASCAR CAMPING WORLD SERIES WEST.
7:58 p.m. -- Ross Strmiska's car fails to fire and is pushed off the track as the field rolls off of the starting grid.
7:55 p.m. -- The command for "Gentleman start your engines" is given.
7:41 p.m. -- PRE-RACE activities, including a special honor to the winningest driver in the series, Jack McCoy, who passed away April 14 at the age of 72.
7:16 p.m. -- Cars are rolling to the starting grid for driver introductions.
4:40 p.m. -- Jason Bowles grabbed his second Coors Light Pole Award of the year with a lap of 76.883 mph (15.452 seconds) in qualifying.
4:12 p.m. -- Qualifying underway. Cars enter the track from the backstretch and will take the green flag the second time by the flagstand.
1:08 p.m. -- Teams preparing cars to go through tech inspection prior to qualifying, which is slated for 4 p.m.
1:07 p.m. -- Final practice session concludes. Blake Koch turns in the top speed, again. His lap of 77.432 mph was just a bit quicker than his speed in the first session.
1:05 p.m. -- Rodd Kneeland spins Turn 1. Jim Inglebright make contact, suffering slight damage to the nose of his Chevrolet.
12:56 p.m. -- Contact between the cars of Jim Warn and Jason Bowles as they prepare to go green during practice. Both cars continued practice session. Warn's car suffered damage to the right side.
12:37 p.m. -- Cars onto the track for the beginning of the final practice session.
Noon -- First practice session complete. Series rookie Blake Koch turned in the fastest lap during the session, at 77.118 mph. All 20 cars entered in the event participated in the first practice.
11:08 a.m. PT -- The first practice session for the NAPA Auto Parts/Toyota 150 presented by Exclusive Energy Drink is underway. With entrance and exit gates providing access to the third-mile track, drivers practice in groups of seven or eight. Today's weather in the Madera area is sunshine, with a temperature forecast in the low 70s.
