8:05 p.m. -- VIP Introductions and interviews.

7:05 p.m. -- The starting field is being lined up on the front straight for the first NCATS autograph session of the 2009 season.

5:35 p.m. -- New pole sitter by the defending Champion Scott Steckly with a 17.255

5:30 p.m. --Don Thomson Jr. who sat on the pole 7 times last year will qualify fourth with a 17.396

5:28 p.m. -- Hometown Hero Andrew Ranger qualifies with a respectable 17.369

5:26 p.m. -- DJ Kennington turns the fastest qualifying so far with a 17.307

5:25 p.m. -- Dave Whitlock turns a 17.680

5:20 p.m. -- Jason Hathaway starts the qualifying session with a 17.918

5:15 p.m. --Time trials are underway as Jason Hathaway is the first car on the track.

2:10 p.m. -- With 20 minuntes remiaining in the session, DJ Kennington has posted the fastest lap at 83.382 mph. Mark Dilley is second at 83.223 followed by Andrew Ranger at 83.007 mph.

1 p.m. -- Practice is underway.

11:45 a.m. -- The driver and crew chief meeting is complete.

9 a.m. -- Inspection is underway. Derek White has been added to the entry list while John Gaunt and JR Fitzpatrick have been subtracted.

8 a.m. -- The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series garage is open. Clearing skies with temperatures expected to be in the low 20s (Celsius).
