IT IS THE FIRST CAREER VICTORY FOR RUDOLPH, WHO BECOMES THE YOUNGEST WINNER IN NASCAR WHELEN MODIFIED TOUR HISTORY AT 17 YEARS, 6 MONTHS, 3 DAYS. HE ECLIPSED THE MARK SET LAST YEAR BY RYAN PREECE AT 17 YEARS, 10 MONTHS, 25 DAYS.

Lap 92 -- Grigas spins in Turn 2, but no caution. In Turn 4, Blewett does a 360 and keeps going. Christopher slows behind him in the runoff area in Turn 4, but as he comes back on the track, contact with Goodale and Pitkat sends Pitkat for a spin the frontstretch grass.
Lap 90 -- Beers spins on backstretch, but gets going so no caution.
Lap 88 -- Beers is smoking.
Lap 86 -- Tyler and Pennink side-by-side for spot.
Lap 85 -- Leaders are Rudolph, Preece, Silk, Stefanik, Lia, Blewett, Pasteryak and Tyler
Lap 84 -- Rudolph pulls into the lead on the backstretch
Lap 82 -- GREEN: Preece and Rudolph run side-by-side for the lead all the way around
Lap 81 -- With one to go to green, leaders are Preece, Rudolph, Silk, Stefanik, Blewett, Tyler, Pennink, Lia, Grigas, Pasteryak, Heagy, Christopher, Hossfeld, Beets and Reen. Szegedy in 19th.
Lap 79 -- Szegedy peels down pit road with a flat right rear tire, handing the lead to Preece.
Lap 78 -- Christopher and Hossfeld in the pits to change right rear.
Lap 77 -- CAUTION NO. 7: Bush spins again, in Turn 3. Catalano is the free-pass car.
Lap 75 -- Rudolph passes Christopher for fourth. Lia up to 11th
Lap 74 -- Rudolph pressures Christopher for fourth, looks to the outside on the backstretch
Lap 72 -- Rudolph drove right under Coby for fifth on the backstretch
Lap 70 -- Rudolph has cleared Stefanik for sixth
Lap 69 -- Bush spins it in Turn 2, but gets going without a caution
Lap 67 -- Silk and Christopher bang together battling for fourth; Christopher gets the best of it out of Turn 2

Lap 58 -- Cole's right rear tire comes off as he pulls away from his pit stall.
Lap 58 -- Beers, Pennink, Cole, Pasteryak, Heagy, Cole, and Bush all come down pit road.
Lap 57 -- Flemke down pit road again
Lap 56 -- CAUTION NO. 6: Lia goes around again in Turn 3.
Lap 55 -- Top five have seperated themselves
Lap 53 -- Hossfeld continues to march, pressuring Preece.
Lap 50 -- Stefanik gets stuck on the outside and loses spots to Hossfeld, Silk, and Blewett
Lap 49 -- GREEN: Szegedy again jumps to the lead
Lap 47 -- Leaders are Szegedy, Christopher, Preece, Stefanik, Hossfeld, Silk, Blewett. Grigas and Lia both come down pit road
Lap 45 -- CAUTION NO. 5: Lia goes around again as he was going around Pitkat for 12th into Turn 3. Grigas also loops it. Pasteryak is the free-pass car.
Lap 42 -- Hossfeld all the way up to fifth
Lap 41 -- Preece jumps up to third.
Lap 40 -- GREEN: Christopher and Stefanik equal at the lin, but Szegedy gets the advantage on the backstretch
Lap 39 -- One to go at the line. Flemke comes down pit road
Lap 35 -- Top 10 are Christopher, Szegedy, Stefanik, Preece, Silk, Pitkat, Hossfeld, Blewett, Beers and Pennink
Lap 33 -- CAUTION NO. 4: Reen spins by himself in Turn 2. Bush is the free-pass car
Lap 32 -- Reen slows suddenly and waves everybody by
Lap 31 -- GREEN: Szegedy bobbles off Turn 4, but keeps pace alongisde Christopher
Lap 30 -- Coby on pit road and out of his car.
Lap 28 -- Lia down pit road and changes right side front tire.
Lap 25 -- CAUTION NO. 3: Multi-car spin in Turn 4 in the back of the field. All cars drive off with relatively no damage. Coby, Pasteryak, Grigas, Goodale, Bush and Catalano come to pit road following the incident

Lap 23 -- GREEN: Christopher by a nose at the line, he stays outside down the backstretch and battles tire to tire through Turn 4

Lap 12 -- Lia moves outside of Rudolph for 19th

Lap 9 -- Dupuis pulls down pit road and behind the wall
Lap 7 -- GREEN: Szegedy sprints to the front, and Christopher quickly lines up behind him
Lap 3 -- Leaders are Szegedy, Christopher, Stefanik, Preece, Blewett, Pitkat, Beers, Silk, Flemke and Pennink
Lap 3 -- CAUTION NO. 1: Lia goes around in Turn 4. Bush and McDonald also spin in the back as the field checks up.
Lap 2 -- Szegedy pulls into the lead, followed by Christopher, Stefanik, Preece, and Blewett
GREEN -- Christopher gets a great jump and leads at the line by a nose, but Szegedy pulls ahead slightly on backstretch
3:12 p.m. -- Cars given one to go go green
3:09 p.m. -- The cars have rolled off pit road.
3:08 p.m. -- The command to start engines has been given
3:05 p.m. -- Grigas will drop to the back of the field for unapproved changes (radiator).
CHECKERED FLAG -- Szegedy wins the second heat. Blewett is second, followed by Preece, Beers, Flemke, Pennink, Reen, Heagy, Bush, Knoll, Catalano, Cole.
WHITE FLAG -- Szegedy has a comfortable lead
Lap 12 -- Preece is right on Blewett's heels
Lap 10 -- The front four get away as Flemke and Pennink battle for position
Lap 9 -- Pennink looking for a way around Flemke
Lap 7 -- Szegedy stretches his lead over Blewett to eight car lengths.
Lap 5-- Leaders are Szegedy, Blewett, Preece, Beers, Flemke, Pennink, Reen, Heagy, Bush, Knoll, Catalano, Cole
Lap 3 -- Beers checks up out of Turn 2 and Preece takes the third spot
Lap 2 -- Beers and Preece side-by-side for third, followed by Flemke.
Lap 1 -- Szegedy quickly jumps to the lead. Blewett slips into second
2:35 p.m. -- Todd Szegedy and Jimmy Blewett will start on the front row for heat No. 2

Lap 10 -- Leaders remain Christopher, Stefanik, Pitkat, Lia, Silk, Grigas. Goodale, Pasteryak, Hossfeld, Coby, Tyler
Lap 7 -- Christopher continues to cruise with a 1.5-second lead over Stefanik.
Lap 5 -- The top five is Christopher, Stefanik, Pitkat, Lia and Silk
Lap 3 -- Dupuis pulls on to pit road. She's running a backup car from Todd Szegedy.
Lap 1 -- Lia got a jump at the line, but Christopher quickly moved by. Stefanik and Pitkat jump to second and third.
2:28 p.m. -- Ted Christopher and Donny Lia lead the field to the line to take the green.
2:25 p.m. -- The two heat races are 15 laps apiece. Cars in odd position in points are in the first heat; even positions in points are in the second heart.
2:23 p.m. -- The first heat cars are rolling off pit road.
2:20 p.m. -- Spencer's weekly division Modified feature has concluded. Buck Catalano won the 35-lap event. He will race Jake Marosz's No. 9 in the second heat of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event. Up next: heat races.
1:59 p.m. -- Spencer's weekly division Modifieds are on the track for their feature.
1:56 p.m. -- Jamie Tomaino's day is over. The engine problems in practice will keep him out of the heat race and feature. The last NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race Tomaino missed was Aug. 6, 2005 at Riverhead.
1 p.m. -- Erick Rudolph posted the fastest lap in practice at 19.752 seconds (91.130 mph). Chuck Hossfeld was second, followed by Donny Lia, Rowan Pennink and Ted Christopher. PRACTICE TIMES
12:40 p.m. -- Practice has concluded. Up next are the heat races at 2 p.m. Only one caution during the practice session: Jamie Tomaino's No. 99 experienced motor issues. It is currently behind the wall and questionable for the rest of the afternoon
Noon -- Practice is underway. The drivers will have a half-hour practice session.
11 a.m. -- Because of Saturday's rain, the lineups for the heat races were set according to the rule book.

10 a.m. -- The postponement from Saturday means that Donny Lia - originally expected to miss the race to attend his sister's wedding Saturday - will be in the No. 4 car. Jake Marosz, however, will miss the race to attend his son's wedding today. Spencer regular Buck Catalano from Ontario, N.Y., will drive the No. 9 for the event. Kevin Goodale has also withdrawn from the event.
Sunday, 10 a.m. -- The sun is out and after a day delay, the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour is ready to roll at Spencer Speedway. Heat races are scheduled for 2 p.m., with the green flag of the Spencer Speedway 155 at 3 p.m.
