5:20 p.m. -- Ron Beauchamp Jr. will be your pole sitter for the A&W 300.

5:20 p.m. -- Kerry Micks is in 4th with an 18.404.

5:18 p.m. -- Local favourite Jason White is currently in 9th with an 18.939.

5:17 p.m. -- Ron Beauchamp Jr. takes the fastest time away from DJ Kennington with a blistering 18.306.

5:15 p.m. -- DJ Kennington now has the quickest qualifying with an 18.380.

5:12 p.m. -- Don Thomson Jr. has the fastest qualifying so far with an 18.389.

5:10 p.m. -- Kent Nuhn turns an 19.9008 that will pump John Gaunt up who turned an 18.820.

5:06 p.m. -- Mark Dilley is at the top of the board so far with an 18.573.

5:00 p.m. -- Qualifying for the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series begins as Anthony Simone starts off with an 18.595.

2:35 p.m. -- Practice is complete. DJ Kennington led the way with a 18.307 (98.323 mph) followed by Anthony Simone (18.406/97.794) and Ron Beauchamp Jr. (18.458/97.519).  COMPLETE TIMES

2:05 p.m.  -- Just over halfway of the practice session, DJ Kennington's lap of 18.307 still stands as the fastest lap. Anthony Simone is second at 18.406 seconds followed by John Gaunt at 18.478, Steckly (18.488) and Ron Beauchamp Jr. (18.544). 

1:45 p.m. -- After 15 minutes of practice, DJ Kennington is fastest at 18.307 seconds (98.323 mph). The track record is 18.299 seconds set by Don Thomson Jr. on July 14, 2007. Today, Scott Steckly is second-fastest at 18.514 followed by Ron Beauchamp Jr. at 18.544. 

1:30 p.m. -- The one-hour practice session is underway. 

Noon  -- The driver/crew chief meeting is underway. 

11:30 a.m. -- The technical inspection process is underway as the teams prepare for a 1:30 p.m. practice session. Temperatures will be in the high 30s C which is around the 100-degree mark F. 

9:30 a.m. PT -- The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1 garage area is open as teams prepare for the A&W Cruisin' The Dub 300.
