CHECKERED FLAG: Andrew Ranger will win the Komatsu 300 at Riverside Speedway. He has all but clinched the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series Championship.

Lap 294 -- Andrew Ranger continues to hold a healthy lead over Jeff Lapcevich in second.

Lap 276 -- Mark Dilley continues to run in fifth with Jason Hathaway, Brad Graham, Dave Whitlock and Jason White rounding out your top 10 

Lap 269 -- The top five leaders are all making their way through traffic.

Lap 260 -- Your current top five are Andrew Ranger, Jeff Lapcevich, Ron Beauchamp Jr., Donald Chisholm and Mark Dilley.

Lap 256 -- Andrew Ranger continues to make his way through traffic.  

Lap 252 -- Andrew Ranger will take the lead from Jeff Lapcevich.

Lap 245 -- Andrew Ranger is pressuring Jeff Lapcevich for first.

Lap 240 -- Mark Dilley makes his way up to fifth.

Lap 235 -- Dexter Stacey goes behind the wall.

Lap 183 -- John Gaunt continues to pressure Jeff Lapcevich for the lead. Andrew Ranger is still close behind in third.

Lap 171 -- John Gaunt looks iinside of Andrew Ranger and takes second.

Lap 168 -- John Gaunt makes contact with Ron Beauchamp Jr.

GREEN FLAG: Jeff Lapcevich will take the gree with John Gaunt close behind.

Lap 158 --Mark Dilley and Scott Steckly will both take a pit stop penalty.

CAUTION NO. 3: Kerry Micks collects in Turn four with Dexter Stacey. 

Lap 145 -- Jason White and Kent Nuhn are making pit stops.

Lap 138 -- While Donald Chisholm tries to close in on Andrew Ranger, Kerry Micks is working Brad Graham for seventh.

Lap 131 -- Your current running order is Scott Steckly, Mark Dilley, Andrew Ranger, Donald Chisholm and Ron Beauchamp Jr.

Lap 128 -- Scott Steckly is slowly closing in on leader Mark Dilley.

Lap 122 -- Scott Steckly continues to pressure Andrew Ranger for second. 

Lap 116 -- Scott Steckly makes it by Ron Beauchamp Jr. for third with Donald Chisholm trying to follow in his tracks.

Lap 105 -- Mark Dilley leads the race while Ron Beauchamp Jr. looks to take second from Andrew Ranger.

Lap 97 -- Your current running order is Andrew Ranger, Mark Dilley, Donald Chisholm, Ron Beauchamp Jr., DJ Kennington, Kerry Micks, Scott Steckly, Brad Graham, Jeff Lapcevich and John Gaunt.

Lap 96 -- Pit lane is open and a lot of the top cars have gone in.

CAUTION NO. 2: Hugo Vannini spins in Turn 3.

Lap 90 -- Ron Beauchamp Jr. and DJ Kennington will lap John Gaunt. 

Lap 85 -- Ron Beauchamp Jr. and DJ Kennington are unable to clear any of the traffic.

Lap 79 -- Ron Beauchamp Jr. and DJ Kennington are still trying to make their way through heavy traffic.  

Lap 74 -- DJ Kennington has caught up to Ron Beauchamp Jr. as Ron tries to make his way through traffic.

Lap 68 -- Andrew Ranger and Scott Steckly continue to battle for third.

Lap 63 -- Mark Dilley has made it by Jeff Lapcevich for fifth.

Lap 55 -- Dave Whitlock, John Gaunt and Jason Hathaway are racing hard.

Lap 30 -- Ron Beauchamp Jr. takes the lead from DJ Kennington with Andrew Ranger Scott Steckly and Jeff Lapcevich in fifth.

Lap 27 -- DJ Kennington and Ron Beauchamp Jr. take the green and are side by side through Turn 1 

CAUTION NO 1: Anthony Simone will get collected with Jason White on the back straight.

Lap 18 -- Jeff Lapcevich pressures Scott Steckly for fourth and makes the pass. 

Lap 13 -- Don Thomson Jr. is smoking from the back end and will come in to the pits.  

Lap 6 -- Ron Beauchamp Jr. continues to put pressure on DJ Kennington as Don Thomson Jr. makes up a couple of positions.

12:24 p.m. -- Andrew Ranger turns a 15.086. That will put him in fourth.

12:20 p.m. -- Jeff Lapcevich turns a 15.135

12:17 p.m. -- Hometrack favourite Donald Chisholm has the fourth fastest time with a 15.137

12:14 p.m. -- Scott Steckly has the third fastest qualifying so far with a 15.067

12:11 p.m. -- Ron Beauchamp Jr. has the second fastest time with a 15.026

12:10 p.m. -- DJ Kennington turns a 15.112 followed by a 14.917

12:07 p.m. -- Track record is 14.883 

12:05 p.m. -- Don Thomson Jr. turns a fast time of 15.149

12:03 p.m. -- Kerry Micks has the fastest time with a 15.189

12:00 p.m. -- Mark Dilley will start qualifying with a fast time of 15.229.

11:50 a.m. -- Qualifying is set to begin in 10 minutes. 

9:45 a.m. -- Practice is complete. Local driver Donald Chisholm turned in the fastest time with a time of 14.745 seconds followed by Ron Beauchamp Jr. (14.776), Andrew Ranger (14.795), Jeff Lapcevich (14.816) and Don Thomson Jr. (14.827).  PRACTICE RESULTS

9:32 a.m. -- Anthony Simone has taken over the top spot with a time of 14.828 seconds followed by Mark Dilley (14.898) and DJ Kennington (14.909).

9:25 a.m. -- Cars have picked up the pace. Local driver Donald Chisholm leads the way with a time of 14.968 seconds. DJ Kennington is second at 15.026 and John Gaunt is third with a time of 15.065 seconds. 

9:15 a.m. -- Cars are running at a conservative pace as the track continues to dry. 

9 a.m. -- Cars are preparing to take the track for practice. 

Sunday, Sept. 20, 8 a.m. -- The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1 garage area is open and the weather forecast is good. Partly cloudy skies with temperatures in the mid-teens Celcius. 

3 p.m. -- The Komatsu 300 has been postponed to Sunday, Sept. 20 at 1:30 p.m. Spectator gates will open at 11 a.m. with time trials following at noon. 

11:28 a.m.  -- Rain has fallen at the track this morning, but weather system is expected to clear the area soon. 

Saturday, Sept. 19, 9:30 a.m. AT -- The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1 garage area is open.
