Lap By Lap: Fall Classic 150



Checkered Flag -- Brunnhoelzl wins with Smith second, Jason Myers and Frank Fleming fourth.. Burt Myers fifth. 

Lap 145 -- Five laps to go with Brunnhoelzl, Smith, Fleming, Jason Myers and Burt Myers. 

Restart Lap 143 --  Brunnhoelzl leads Smith to the restart.  

Lap 139 --  Dauzat was black flagged for hitting Loftin under caution on the track. 

Caution 4 -  Lap 136 --  Brian Loftin and Bryan Dauzat get together in Turn 2.  

Lap 135 -- Brunnhoelzl is navigating lapped traffic with Smith a car length behind. 

Lap 130 -- Brunnhoelzl and Smith have made it a two-car race for the lead. 

Lap 125 --  Smith is making a charge for the lead and has closed up to Brunnhoelzl's rear bumper. 

Lap 120 -- Brunnhoelzl has built his lead to three car lengths over Smith but they are coming up on lapped traffic. 

Lap 115 -- Brunnhoelzl still leads Smith by three car lengths. Jason Myers is challenging brother Burt for fourth. 

Lap 110 -- Loftin passes Brewer for sixth place. 

Lap 105 -- Brunnhoelzl and Smith have broken away from third-place Fleming by 15 car lengths. 

Lap 101 -- Loftin gets loose in Turn 2 and falls back to seventh place. 

Restart Lap 100 -- Brunnhoelzl leads with Smith second, Fleming third and Loftin and Brewer fifth. 

Lap 98 -- Seuss pits under caution.  

Caution 3 Lap 96 --  Dauzat spins in Turn 2. He is able to roll away. 

Restart Lap  95 -- Brunnhoelzl leads the field to green, Smith is second followed by Fleming, Seuss and Loftin. 

Lap 89 -- Loftin, Burt Myers, Brown and Brewer all pit. Jason Myers pits while running fourth. 

Caution 2 Lap 88 -- Bryan Dauzat spins on the backstretch. 

Lap 85 -- Brunnhoelzl remains in the lead with Smith second a car length back. Fleming is now in third about 10 car lengths back and Jason Myers is fourth. 

Lap 80 -- Brunnhoelzl leads with Smith second, Fleming is third and Jason Myers fourth. Seuss has already moved to fifth after his pit stop. 

Restart -- Lap 76 -- Brunnhoelzl starts at the point with John Smith second.  

Lap 71 --  Loftin pits while leading...Seuss, Brown, Burt Myers and Bryan Dauzat all also decide to pit. Seuss was second and B. Myers with sixth.

Caution 1 - Lap 70 --  Debris is found in Trun 3.. Everyone stays out... 

Lap 70 -- Loftin gets past Lee Jeffreys to put him a lap down. 

Lap 62 --  Brunnhoelzl is once again challenging Seuss for second.... 

Lap 58 -- Brewer gets by Brown for 8th. 

Lap 55 --  Top five remains the same.. Zach Brewer and Jonathan Brown are putting on a show racing for 8th.. 

Lap 50 --  Tom McCann Jr. pits and parks his car. 

Lap 45 -- Loftin remains out from with Seuss and Brunnhoelzl racing hard for second place. 

Lap 40 -- Loftin is setting a record pace in the lead and Seuss is closing in to challenge for the lead. 

Lap 30  -- Brunnhoelzl is challenging Seuss for second while Loftin remains out front. 

Lap 25 -- Top five remains the same...Loftin, Seuss, Brunnhoelzl III, Smith and Jason Myers....

Lap 20 -- Loftin continues to lead Seuss by 10 car lengths.... 

Lap 12 -- Top five remains the same with Burt Myers has moved up to sixth. Jonathan Brown is seventh with Frank Fleming, Zach Brewer, and Lee Jeffreys complete the top 10.

Lap 7 -- Top five is Brian Loftin, Andy Seuss, George Brunnhoelzl III, John Smith, Jason Myers.

Start of Race -- George Brunnhoewlz has taken the green flag to become the 2009 NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour champion. Brian Loftin leads Lap 1. 

8:00 p.m. -- Cars are rolling off the grid. 

7:55 p.m. -- Engines have just fired.  

6:40 p.m. -- Brunnhoelzl wins the Coors Light pole with a time of 16.004... 

6:35 p.m. -- Brian Loftin just moved into second place with a time of 16.032. 

6:30 p.m. -- George Brunnhoelzl III has fast time so far in qualfiying with a time of 16.004 seconds. Andy Seuss is second with a time of 16.063. Jason myers is third. 

5 p.m. -- George Brunnhoelzl III has taken over the top spot in practice with a time of 15.981 seconds (102.497 mph). Brian Loftin is second with a time of 16.005 and Andy Seuss completes the top three at 16.023. Lee Jeffreys and Jonathan Brown complete the top five. PRACTICE TIMES

4:50 p.m. -- Brian Loftin is the early leader in practice with a time of 16.005 seconds (102.343 mph). Andy Seuss is second with George Brunnhoelzl III, Lee Jeffreys, Jonathan Brown. 

4:35 p.m. -- NASCAR Camping World East Series driver Dale Quarterley is assisting Frank Fleming today and will shake down the No. 40 Pontiac during practice. Also in attendance is Jay Hedgecock. He will drive the No. 12 car tonight for the first time this season.  

4:30 p.m. -- Practice for the Fall Classic 150 has just begun.  

1 p.m. -- Rain has let up and racing is still on schedule.
