Practice: Seuss Leads Southern Mods

ASHEBORO, N.C. - Andy Seuss topped the speed charts in practice Friday for the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour event at Caraway Speedway.

Seuss' fast time of 16.212 seconds/101.036 mph was just one-hundreths of a second faster than Brian Loftin (16.212/100.974).

Jason Myers was third of the 24 cars to practice, followed by Tim Brown and Bobby Hutchens. Point leader LW. Miller was sixth. Qualifying is scheduled for 6 p.m. and the Whelen Southern Modified Tour 150 is slated to take the green at 8 p.m.

UPDATE: It is currently raining at Caraway, halfway through the qualifying order. Track activities have been temporarily halted.
