TUXTLA GUTIERREZ, Mexico – Homero Richards picked up his second win of the season, and Germain Quiroga moved closer to officially clinching the 2009 NASCAR Mexico Series championship despite a 21st-place finish Sunday at Autódromo de Chiapas.
Richards took the lead on Lap 97 and was out front on Lap 152 on the 1,200-meter course when the race reached the 100-minute time limit.
