
Mexico Series
QUERÉTARO, Mexico – Waldemar Coronas became the first non-Mexican driver to win in the NASCAR Mexico Series when the Argentinian earned the win Sunday at Querétaro New Racetrack.
It was Coronas’ fourth career start, the third of the season and just the second with Team GP. His only race prior to this season was the 2006 season finale. He made his debut as teammate with defending series champion Rafael Martínez and Freddy Tame at Puebla Aug. 17.
