Canadian Tire Series
After a few years away from Canada’s premier stock-car racing series, John Gaunt returned with the advent of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Sirius Satellite Radio believing that getting back up to speed would be an easy proposition, but it was nothing of the sort.
The No. 12 Centennial Chrysler team scratched and clawed their way to a 12th-place finish in the 2007 championship points standings having just a single top-five finish on the year. That, however, was not the way it was envisioned.
